Our Operations

Argo mines from established jurisdictions at state-of-the-art facilities in North America. Argo has allocated its resources in search of adaptable and highly efficient data centers. The combination of inexpensive hydropower from North America and the best machines on the market has allowed Argo to continue to be profitable, even throughout cryptocurrency downtimes.

Baie Comeau

Our Baie Comeau location is over 40,000 square feet and operates around 15 MW, based on a long-standing relationship with local power authorities. The Baie Comeau hydroelectric dam generates 100% renewable power. Argo purchased the Baie Comeau facility from GPUOne in 2021 as part of our drive to wholly-owned data center business model.

Mirabel was Argo’s first large-scale mining facility and is still home to numerous operations. With approximately 30,000 square feet of mining space, it is our smallest data center, but also hosts our cleaning and repair center as well as servers for proof-of-stake mining and other blockchain infrastructure needs.

Argo currently has ~2.4 EH/s of hashrate capacity operating at the Helios facility in Dickens County, Texas. Helios is a 125,000 square foot Bitcoin mining facility with 180 MW of power capacity. It was designed and constructed by Argo, and mining operations began in May 2022. Helios was designed to utilize custom-designed immersion-cooling technology which provides for efficient operation in hot and dusty environments.

December 2022: Argo Sold the Helios Facility to Galaxy Digital Holdings, Ltd.
