Our Facilities

Argo mines from established jurisdictions at state-of-the-art facilities in North America. Argo has allocated its resources in search of adaptable and highly efficient data centres. The combination of inexpensive hydropower from North America and the best machines on the market has allowed Argo to continue to be profitable, even throughout cryptocurrency downtimes.

Helios is Argo’s flagship mining facility located in Dickens County, Texas. Phase 1 of Helios is under construction and is expected to be complete in early Q2 2022. Phase 1 will include a 126,000 square foot data center and support 200 MW of electricity (approximately 50,000 mining machines). In total, Helios has access to 800 MW of electricity from a neighboring substation. Additionally, the facility is designed to utilize Argo’s proprietary immersion-cooling technology which allows for cost-effective, high-speed mining in warmer climates. When Phase 1 is operational in Q2 2022, it will be one of the world’s largest immersion-cooled mining facilities.

Baie Comeau

Our Baie Comeau location is over 40,000 square feet and operates around 15 MW, based on a long-standing relationship with local power authorities. The Baie Comeau hydroelectric dam generates 100% renewable power. Argo purchased the Baie Comeau facility from GPUOne in 2021 as part of our drive to wholly-owned data center business model.

Mirabel was Argo’s first large-scale mining facility and is still home to numerous operations. At 20,000 square feet, it is our smallest data center, but also hosts our cleaning and repair center as well as servers for proof-of-stake mining and other blockchain infrastructure needs.
